ISP Outage
« on: 20 March 2008, 00:04:14 »
My ISP apparently has an "outage".  At least that's the message I got when I rang them this morning.

I suddenly lost my broadband internet connection in the middle of yesterday evening.

They said it would be 24 hours before it was up again, so in case that is true, and I can't post, you'll all know why.

And no, I'm not going to stay at work just so I can stay on the board!!!

oh that is such a pain when that happens.

Sunlight streams through the window pane
unto a spot on the floor...
then I remember,
it's where you used to lie,
but now you are no more.

I don't think that my ISP has ever been down for 24 hours and I can see that you have every right to be annoyed.  If it were because of a storm, then it would be understandable, so what reason did thy give?  :dontknow:

Hey, I'm back again!!!!  I'm quite sure they had a zillion frantic customers on their phone line.

They didn't give a reason.  It was just a message when I rang their phone number.  After I had entered my phone number, the message said that my prefix had an outage.  And if that wasn't what I was calling about, then press 1.

I don't really care.  At least I'm up and online again, which is all that counts!
